Sheila and Clive are reading the next letter as they sit down on the sofa in the Waterhole. Clive isn’t sure it makes sense, but Sheila starts with the intro.
SHEILA: Hi, I’m Sheila, he’s Clive, and we’re here talking about things that happen in Ramsay Street. We’re not letting out any names though because we’re trying to protect the idiots.
CLIVE: You mean the innocent?
SHEILA: It’s Ramsay Street, ha ha ha. Read the letter.
CLIVE: Okay, here we go. ‘Dear Sheila, sometimes you have to betray a husband’s trust to help him, but he won’t thank you for it. Especially when he betrayed you first with that floozy pretending to be rich. Should you keep secrets? Signed, twice bitten.’
SHEILA: What doesn’t make sense?
CLIVE: The bit after Dear Sheila.
Sheila says she only did what she did because he had done what he did with that awful woman, so he had no right getting angry with her and he should have been up front from the beginning. Clive despairs, there are two women in the letter and he has no idea who either of them are. Sheila starts to mime it out while Clive tries to guess what she means.
CLIVE: Someone with hair, got a face and a head, obviously. Mmm hmm, walks like a monkey. I’ve no clue.
Sheila mimes a test tube being placed in her bra. Clive seems to have worked out who it is, ‘the devious donor.’ Sheila says Clive gave Izzy a tour of his facility. Clive says a secret can cause damage in the long run, but if someone trusts you to keep a secret then that’s what you have to do. Sheila says if they had trusted her, then another little person would be walking around that ‘Dr know- it- all’ would be responsible for.
CLIVE: We’ve all got secrets don’t we, I mean there’s stuff that we don’t just share with the whole world.
SHEILA: I don’t have any secrets. I share anything.
CLIVE: Oh, tell me about it.
SHEILA: I do.
CLIVE: I know.
SHEILA: And I know you hate that but I’m only doing it to loosen you up.
CLIVE: Well its working because I’m practically falling to bits.
After a quick edit, Sheila holds the camera and asks Clive if he keeps any secrets from her. Clive says his work is all about confidentiality.
SHEILA: Don’t be silly, half the time people tell me stuff because they want me to tell everybody else.
CLIVE: How do you know?
SHEILA: Sheila’s intuition. It’s a gift. Guys are hopeless sometimes, getting something off your chest is like squeezing a pimple. It feels really good, but you’re kind of embarrassed to admit it.
CLIVE: Are you squeezing me now, like I’m a pimple?
SHEILA: I’d like to squeeze you later.
CLIVE: Alright, we might turn it off at that bit.
